we played footy together in the playground of Dempsey 'dug-out' school Stepney London E1- smashing kid - the last time I saw him, we were stood in the 'Chez Don' club Dalston watching the 'Stones' sept 1963 - when Kenny suddenly announced "that's what I'm gonna do" And he sure did - I moved to Torquay, and the next time I saw him was on 'Ready Steady Go' in the Small Faces. I wonder if he remembers when I stepped in to save him from getting beaten up by a local psychopath. - Johnny Follon
