TO LIVE AS AN IMMIGRANT IN ATHENS

To live as an immigrant in Athens means:
To load up in the truck of Mr. Evstasiadis,
cement, wires, and iron
And with them to build
To build the freshly purchased lands
of young Athenian owners in Marathon

To live as an immigrant in Athens means:

To be afraid of Greek police because you are a foreigner,
you are an immigrant and you are illegal.
When you are Albanian
you feel twice fear and the absence
of people's presence triple
Because every night the TV
stations of Mega and Antenna report "Albanians steal..."
But, the most famous thief in history was Parid
who stole the beautiful Helen
From her husband Menelaus
After this a sneaky Greek
offered a gift to the Trojans, a wooden horse
And then took their freedom.

To leave as an immigrant in Athens means:

To keep in you pocket the diploma
from the University of Tirana
And during hard labor day dreaming
under the Mediterranean
Of tomorrow sun...

To live as an immigrant in Athens!!!!

PER VIVERE COME IMMIGRANTE A ATENE

Per vivere come immigrante nei mezzi de Atene:
Per caricare in su nel camion del sig. Evstasiadis,
cemento, legare e ferro
E con loro da costruire
Per costruire le terre di recente comprate
dei proprietari Athenian giovani nella maratona
Per vivere come immigrante nei mezzi de Atene:
Essere impauriti della polizia greca perché siete
uno straniero, siete un immigrante e siete illegali.
Quando siete due volte albanesi voi tatto
temi e l'assenza del triplo di presenza
del ' s della gente
Poiché ogni notte le stazioni della TV
degli albanesi dell'antenna e Mega rapporto
del "Albanese rubano"...
Ma, il ladro più famoso nella storia era Paridi

Per andare come immigrante nei mezzi de Atene:

dall'università di Tirana
E durante il giorno di lavoro duro
che sogna sotto il Mediterraneo
Del sole di domani...
