even easier:when you got your #50,divide that by the 200,which =.25,then to convert ANY # into a percent,move 2 spots to the right.25%

This is really a wonderful video with one significant error at the very end, Look at the last step... 1/4 % is less than 1% ...so if you have 1/4% of a cupcake (for example) that is a teeny piece. You do not have 25% of the cupcake or 1/4 of the cupcake. 1/4% is .25% which is 1% divided by 4. Always look to see if the answer makes sense in the original problem. 25% of 200 (or 1/4 of 200) is 50...not .5....so if you have 200 cupcakes does .5 or half a cupcake, represent 25% of the cupcakes?
