The people that contort the words of the bible to justify their judgement and admonition of others frosts my ass. The "right" consists of a bunch of hypocrites, liars, thieves, and a few closet cases. So to get upset by them, is like talking to a tree, it just doesn't make sense. We need to continue looking at ourselves in a positive light, and represent who we are with dignity, and intelligence. The "right" has shown their true colors, which is already making our fight easier.

In a battle learn about yourself, the opponent and the battlefield.
Yourself; mooey's right you need allies its not only gays that should be there
Opponent; better understanding the poeple against gay rights would help find ways to educate them aleviate their fears or find weaknesses in their ability to undermine rights
Political landscape; how do you best influence descision makers, the media, should more people take part in primaries, what are obstacles or wedge issues you need to avoid?

Just remember, democrats didn't bring marriage either. But, you can't vote for an evangelical. As an atheist, it would be great to expand your cause, but be careful, you might get lumped in with things that have nothing to do with you.
