If you peeps above want to talk supercars, BMW provided the engines for the Ascari KZ1 and A10, and most prominently, the Mclaren F1.

A Mclaren F1 is a more praised supercar than what an SLR will ever be...

And FYI, BMW M slaughter AMG on the track. A E92 M3 GTS is expected to produce the same time as an SLR, and the E46 M3 CSL by 'LOADED' tuning company produces a 7:22 time on the Ring. No Merc comes even close, F/I, tuned or N/A.

watch top gear and all other legitamate reviews comparing any m-car and amg-car and you will see that once again you lose top gear, fifth gear, edmunds inside line, motortrend, and all other say amg is not as fast as m
