ugh! i don't care about the book and i'm glad i don't have that comparison thing the readers throw out there along with all your spoilers by telling the plots and pieces of the book not every one wants to know.

As much as the tv series annoys me on some aspects becasue they got alot of things messed up (If you read the book Elena is a blond and so is Katherine) I am hooked on it anyway. Though sometimes I wonder if the people making the tv version even read the book...

@roguerider123 they didn't "mess it up" they knew about the books&they changed somethings.i like the series WAYY better.i read the first book and got bored so when i heard they were making a show i started to watch it&now its my second favorite tv show(1st is charmed) i also HATE when people say its a ripoff from twilight! 1st of all, like damon said,"edward's whipped" AND this series(the book) was written wayyyy before stephanie meyers or whoever she is wrote about gay vampires who sparkle:]
