I totally understand, my 2nd bc was in june of 2011 and my hair is super soft, my curls are softer and looser than before....it is crazy but I love it!

Just so you don't think your imagining it, yes bc'ing natural hair does produce a different final result from bc'ing relaxed hair. What u see is pretty much what you'll be working with over the long haul. I think you'll also have more consistent results with the styling products of your choice. Three products I never go without are aloe Vera juice, jojoba and castor oil. You look beautiful:)

Congratulations on your natural haircare journey. You will not regret it! I have done 2 big chops in my life: one in 1997 to start dreads and in 2000 to cut off the dreadlocks. I love natural hair and go back and forth between wet sets and weaves.
