Terranigma by Enix was what paved the way for final fantasy 7. Ark, the main character who you control, is what Cloud looks like. its for snes. if u havent played it do it. im almost done. its bad ass.
WNC is a decent rpg, atb is cool. BOF Fan here but Oh brother, to all who say FF7 IS OVERRATED just shut up already, it's a legendary game and just because you don't want to give the credit it deserves does not make it "overrated".
How did this become an FF7 discussion? Love it or hate it FF7 helped to bring about the 3d generation of final fantasy games...It didn't do everything right but at the same time it did do things to shake up the genre and at least try something new. I enjoyed that game and I played FF6 too. But that's beside the point...how did white knight chronicles discussion become a trolling convention for FF7? People liked FF7 cuz it most likely was their first FF. I really don't think its overrated.
@Ygdrasel Agree, it a good game at the time, but now they make the sequels, Cloud became some emo gay shit, Zack is the true hero, everything just got emoist and dark, I've dissapointed when I first saw the Cloud in Advent Children, music is awesome since the god Nobue made them, but the story, and Cloud, just got fucked up.
The story is overrated and overdone, the gameplay has always been standard for Final Fantasy, the music is far outdone by other soundtracks in the series. Plus One Winged Angel just blows.
@Ygdrasel Sorry but thats wrong. "8-bit and 16-bit, for video games, specifically refers to the processors used in the console. The number references the size of the words of data used by each processor. The 8-bit generation of consoles (NES) used 8-bit processors; the 16-bit generation (SNES) used 16-bit processors. This affects the quality in the graphics and the music by affecting how much data can be stored"

Cloud was always emo shit. And it was never a good game. VI was far superior but VII got called a masterpiece for being standard crap *IN 3D*!

@Ygdrasel Nope, neither. FF7 is unreal, story, gameplay, music...everything! You tell me how it's over-rated?

@mcnulty1988
You're either being cleverly sarcastic or proving my point.
