why.. why.. plz tell me.. Scientificly your right when you asume we are the only ones, until proof tells otherwise. BUT how can you think that by itself if the universe seems/is endless. Here is a Theory.. What if genetic manipulation of certain beings is prohibited throughout the Galaxy and we are a protected race. Endangered. Made by somebody of power in the universe.

Would that change your logic on why a different Alien might want to stay secret? Especially if they are doing it Illegally.

Maybe we are one of the only pure races left and these Greys are trying to Contaminate the strain.Maybe humans are really advanced and are an opposing force to the Greys somewhere else in the Galaxy and they are studying their enemy at a more primitive nature without the technology to better understand. Were not that far away from figuring out time travel etc so how smart do they really need to be?
To assume that we can foresee their motives is ignorant. Not stupid, just has holes to be filled.

Maybe this is a social experiment like how we look at how monkeys learn and compare to humans. It gives a reference to how we might have evolved to this point.

Monkeys probably sit back and say, Why would beings that come from the heavens (Airplanes) waste their time on studying and abducting/tagging us?
Monkeys might think that if we can build an airplane and travel from continent to continent that we probably already know everything about them.. But we don't do we. See where I'm coming from?

Why would an Alien do anything?

Really we have nothing to compare but our own motives and trains of thought.

So compared to Humans and what motivates us, their actions make no sense I agree.

But in the world of an Alien, they could spend millions of peanuts on analyzing farts for all we know.
