A rare moment when Leon talks to the crowd about songwriting, working with Elton John and about Chris O'Dell, the woman he used to be with in 1970 in England, who inspired his song "Hummingbird." She also recently wrote a book entitled "Miss O'Dell" which is an interesting read. As someone who has seen at least 20 Leon Russell shows through the years, he spoke more at this show than he had any of the previous ones I've seen combined!

  • He' IS a beautiful man----in the past I thought only physically, , but today I realize it is also soulfully. One the greatest musicians ever----so glad Elton got him going a bit more. Book "Miss O'Dell" is a terrific read if you like the '70's and all those who truly made wonderful music!

  • So lovely to hear him chatting and sounding so well. Awesome.

  • Passionately always loving this man's music.
