The facility manager of UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education in Delft, The Netherlands, describes the waterless urinals in our building and also gives a brief overviev of our UDD toilet. The urinals are from Uridan, Denmark and the UDD toilets is from Separett, Sweden. Both systems use no water but do not smell. They are part of an ongoing awareness raising campaign for ecological sanitation (ecosan). See www.unesco-ihe.org for more information or do a google search on ecosan.

  • no one is going to do that every 5 or 6 weeks and if you dont you have sewer gas in the building

Don't even get me started about the water closet

  • i think there are far better ways to save on water.

when the time comes when were in a drought and every litre of water must be saved then sure, lets start pooing into our shared plastic bags, but until then i really doubt this is necessary.

  • Thats is gross.
