I'm most impressed with the guy that sang the same note for the whole song without wavering. It's more difficult to do that than it sounds.

The Beatles version has just as soft and gentle a lead! It's a soft, gentle song. Thumbs up, KS!

@Chichilo00 I understand why you think the lead is a little quiet, but I went to a workshop run by these guys today and he is singing softly to compliment the song and the other parts being sung. It's got a lot to do with balancing the sound, but also telling the story. A daytime bird singing at night. It's surprising and beautiful, not really something to shout about. :-)
