The Beatles version has just as soft and gentle a lead! It's a soft, gentle song. Thumbs up, KS!

@Chichilo00 I understand why you think the lead is a little quiet, but I went to a workshop run by these guys today and he is singing softly to compliment the song and the other parts being sung. It's got a lot to do with balancing the sound, but also telling the story. A daytime bird singing at night. It's surprising and beautiful, not really something to shout about. :-)
