  • Amazing set up, Can you please tell me how to connect all those speakers together?? How many out from the mixer? How many speaker to speaker do you connect? sorry I am a beginner and please help me find out

  • @SuperErin21 Hi there Buddy, No Problem, I love to help and thanks for the Great comment! the speakers in this video I have are self powered meaning, each speaker has a amp built in it. If U have powered speakers U can hook however many together u want. in this Video I had 3 speakers on my left channel and 3 on my right, Ill be doing a video soon telling how I hooked it all up.

  • To set the levels of a sound system, Send a source through your mixer so that you are just below clipping the mixer. Then raise the levels of your amp/powered speaker so that it is just below clipping. This is the correct way to set your system. If you don't run your mixer into distortion, you will never run your speakers into clipping either. You don't lose power from your speakers by not having them turned up all the way. You can only take them up to the point of clipping anyway. Be safe.

  • @ScottParrWeddings Hi buddy thanks for posting the comment, but its not. If U set up your system that way the amps could pass High Harmonic Destortion, when that happens U can still chip the amps but the clip lights wont show it as clipping, this is where most owners make the mistakes like that, when that happens the voice coiles blow out and the ower cant figure out why cus the responce is I never saw my amps clip. Ive repaired a Number of broke down Crown amps from this very problem.

  • @BlastEntertainment84 Thank you so much :)

  • @skayush Hi buddy, Thanks so much for your comment, I try to give helpful info if I can. I love anything that has to do with sound, and I so glad someone asked me about that, which was about how to run the amps volume controls cus I cant tell U how many amps Ive repaired dut to clipping and it came back to the amp being choked. volumes at half or 3/4 and the owners trying to push the mixer volume, amp went boom in a bad way. and thing else I can give info on let me know, HAPPY THANKSGIVING !!

  • @BlastEntertainment84 Yup, that's the way it's supposed to be done ! Thanks for passing on the info to others, you saved them from destroying some of their equipments. I learnt the hard way though, before Internet !

  • @hummurabi2010 Correct !! same goes for regular pa amps as well. if U pick a regular pa amp I would recommed Lab Gruppen, Crown, QSC or Crest amps.. These amp brands are pretty much standard in touring sound systems and are VERY reliable. any other question PLZ feel free to drop me a line anytime!!!

  • @BlastEntertainment84 THANK YOU SO MUCH! does this apply to external amps too ?

  • U get better preformance from the amp if the volume on it is all the way up amd U use ur mixer as the master. if Not Ull choke the amp, they can heat up faster. Not only that but the controls on a amp arnt really volume controls. there atenuators that turn up ant down the amps input. Ull get better preformance out of them if U run the volume wide open then Use ur masters on ur mixer
