Ken's Kara cr.MK/cr.HK Throw

Vid shows tick into kara throw using the added range of Ken's cr.mk/cr.hk.

1st part shows how Ken's normal throw whiffs after cr.LK tick.
2nd part shows how Ken's kara throw with standing MK/HK moves you forward, but not enough to throw after ticking.
3rd part shows crouching MK/HK kara throw landing after the tick.

Then after there's some other ways of tick into kara throw.

i've tried for at least 2 hours on this lol.

Still can't get the c. MK/HK to cancel, i just sweep or do low forward. Does this work on old type SFIII:3s?

Yeh it works on all versions of 3s.

There are 2 kind of ways to do it.

One is to hold down, let go then quickly press mk/hk ~ lp + lk.

The other is to pretend there's a midpoint between neutral and down. So you hold down and kinda half move the stick to the "midpoint" and press mk/hk, then let it go to neutral and press throw.

Just keep practicing :)

Its easier to do this on pad in my opinion. Stick, just makes it more accurate again in my opinion.

I can do it on a pad... It takes a bit of practice but you just have to do it fast enough.
