@Zapak1 I would have said Jung came up with the idea that there was no such thing as the subconscious so I can't really take credit for that. Mark shouldn't have had to use force as he made clear he was not happy with what was going on. Also he was asleep when the sex was initiated so he was in no fit state to give permission or not. But I do agree with you on your final point as we haven't quite reached the point of equal responsibility when it comes to sex yet.

@Easyandy100 You're splitting hairs. The subconscious is often used to refer to the preconscious in common language, however it's not accepted in academic works due to the term having other ambiguous meanings, so I'll give you that one. As for Mark, he's still a giant pussbag that could have easily stopped the alleged raping. Girls aren't taught no means no when they're the initiator.

@Zapak1 Mark protested a number of times. It was rape though not a vicious assault and there is no such thing as the sub conscious; you are either aware of something (conscious) or unaware of something (unconscious). Can't be half and half.

While men can certainly be raped in rare cases, Mark clearly wasn't. The girl hesitated when he very politely protested, but soldiered on when he made absolutely no effort to stop her. Had he started to struggle, then he would definitely have been raped. Who doesn't subconsciously want to shag a lesbian?
