Bluegrass Jam Session 5 - Townsend, TN, 9-26-08

3 songs/groupings: "Rank Stranger", "Sittin' on Top of the World" & "Mountain Dew".
Group 1:"Rank Stranger". Only know the names of the mandolin player, Rodney Worley & the bass player, Chris Chastain. Don't know the names of the other musicians & the female singer.
Group 2: "Sittin' on top of the world: jamming with Jay Tipton, the lead singer/banjo player, Rodney Worley-mandolin, Chris Chastain-bass, Bruce Fox on bass (behind Jay). Don't know the names of the others.
Group 3: "Mountain Dew" - The only one I know the name of is Bruce Fox on mandolin/tenor. I think the bass player is named "Bill". Don't know the names of the other two. If any viewer of this video knows the names, please let me know. Heritage Festival & Old Timer's Day at Townsend, TN., 9-26-08.

You got me there. I just always assumed this was a bluegrass song! But I can definitely see it being a blues song. Now I will have to go looking for the one you are talking about out of curiosity.
