Note: Spino's bite was actually a joke compared to T. rex and was probably still weaker than the carcharodontosaurids.
-
Wow, Acro is actually quite strong, but even it is nothing compared to T. rex. Hell, not even motherfucking SPINO has a biteforce as strong as what a Rex had.
-
@RyoPotter However, when absorbing their anatomies, still to this day, there isn't anything that was as powerful as a t-rex. T-rex was a massive creature built fpr strength and power whereas the other three largest were not at all.
Keep in mind, this is a very poorly made documentary that is already showing false depictions as soon as it plays(part of the reason to why it was forcefully cancelled half way back in 2001 in the first place)
-
@RyoPotter Not quite, there some that are larger, but not as powerful(also keep in mind this was back in 2001 when dinosaurs were overly dramatized, especially by this prematurely forced cancelled show). There are only three carnivorous dinosaurs that are larger than t-rex.Giga and carch are basically the exact same size(not even noticeable) while spino is simply just longer due to its long narrow snout, long slender neck and tail. Explicitly, their size is nowhere significant enough.

@elmersglue82 Amen! They likely saw much more powerful creatures since t-rex.
-
@wwejheaton Actually, there are nature documentaries - especially those shot by Attenborough - who show lions successfully kill elephants, especially young ones, so... yeah.
-
@realistromeo uh dude even in a pack lions don't screw with elephants
-
@SomeoneCommenting Even Spielberg's beasts made more sense.

Honestly I'm surprised they didn't mention Utahraptor. It lived at the same time as Acrocanthosaurus, had all the same adaptations as Deinoychus, and was bigger.

I remember growing up watching this at early 2001. Looking back at it as an adult, wow do I real retarded just for glancing at it too long. This really makes zero sense and as a kid, I didn't even noticed such dramatic lacks of consistencies with excruciatingly bad info. This wasn't even a good documentary series to begin with and we are all aware of the fact it was forcefully canceled half way because of such debacles. But, 2001 was a very long time ago.

It's staggeringly alarming the amount of gullible kids who believe whatever terrible illogical 10 year old documentary tells them without question nor the intellect or education to differentiate realism and dramatic laws of physics breaking assumptions basted on nothing but blatant opinion that has zero evidence to even slightly prove it and is entirely contradictive to itself...
It's a testament to the lack of education in our planet's civilization -_-
