In a national effort to make the so-called one per cent listen, hundreds of thousands of people have withdrawn money from leading banks in the United States. For people who want to play their part in the 'Occupy' movement, but don't feel like hitting the streets, it was the day to act.

Why so angry? Is that fear I sense? No one plans to take anything from you, but we are going to change things for ourselves. The amount of money a person has or has not should not affect others. OWS wants government regulation on Wall Street to protect us all. If banks and institutions had them we would not have this housing crisis, or a need for bank bailouts. This woman is advocating a small gesture to show the banks who the money belongs to.
