aunty, the masala that you have made is similar(except sesame seeds and methi seeds) to what we make when we prepare 'arachuvita sambar'. I'll surely try this recipe too, thanks aunty.

No worries How can you even know the gender! Normally men probably wouldnt be trawling the cookery channels! Even though I am omnivore and eat any thing some times one craves for the things your mum fed you when one was young, and NOT SO YOUNG!
I dont think I could have brought up any one with the same, or even 50% of intensity of love/effort which my MUM/Dad put in and displayed!

My Mum used to make Kootu of Banana Flower! can you post that method please?? and also some thing called Dandu kootu which is the stem of young banana saplings/trees! will you please post a video for that and the method as well??

thank you very much for all your efforts! men in India are SO hopeless that they literally are like leeches living off the sustenance they draw from their mothers sisters and wives! when some one like me eventually face the facts that we should have learnt some thing at least for self preservation, time starts slipping from ones hands!
Thanks to technology we can leave/have a repository of wealth of experience and knowledge of people like you and Auntyji who demonstrated cooking

Hi
Congrats and Good luck on your project!!
I am glad I chanced on your site!
Your preparation looked like a Porichakuzhambu but I was surprised about the addition of tamarind..
Does this Kootu have a specific name?
Thanks,
Nalini
