@LadieChaya --
I love you. (not in a creepy way.)
(I wear 30K and I look like most people's idea of a D cup. :) )

@bridosbabe Agree totally! Adding 4-5 inches is an outdated method! I fit very comfortably in a 30K bra, yet by this method I am a 34DDD! I once went to Victoria's Secret where they measured me and told me I was 34DD interesting, they randomly knocked a cup size off what is supposedly my 'correct' size by this method; I wonder why..oh because they don't carry triple D(not to mention K). lol!

How many videos are saying this 'add 4/5 inches?!' Does that mannequin really look like a 32B?! No, because it is a 28E! Very odd... I think it is probably because they want you to fit into the sizes they sell, instead of your true size. Girls, PLEASE go get fitted at a stockist which sells band sizes from 28-40, and cup sizes up to a K and beyond, so you get your true bra size!

if the center panel doesnt fit does it mean you need a bigger size? and the cups pucker?
-
I'm pretty sure this is wrong. My bra size would be a 32C according to this video. Couldn't fit into that if my life depended on it.

you find lots of these sizes at bravissimo, brastop or figleaves.

So how many women is this video helping

using the "traditional" method for calculating bra size in a modern bra results in a band size far too big, and a cup size which is too small. the materials have changed! nowadays bra bands are much more elastic. for some reason, many people feel intimidated by what are considered larger cup sizes. but it's a common misconception that a woman with D cups is extremely well endowed. take a look at the bravissimo homepage for example! :)
