cocoyamfufu, shes not a fallen angel, she's the reincarnation of a fallen angel, and also to say that the crow contrasts her "pureness" would be to say the crow is somehow impure, i believe they chose the crow due to its large role in paganistic religions

5 month old reply so this is kind of late but I think the original poster might have been asking about the symbology.

I think Key picked the crow rather than another bird because it's a nice contrast to her white wings from before she was reincarnated; while Misuzu is supposed to be like a pure angel, she is also supposed to be a fallen angel.
