About Arjun, let me educate you on the real facts of that project.

The Government of India asked DRDO to design a tank in 1972, to replace the T-55. The design was completed by 1974. But, the program was shelved for almost 2 decades. Finally, funds to develop the Tank were released in 1996. So, the actual development started in 1996, and not 1972. The program was never funded before 1996.

By the way, over 200 Arjuns are already in service in Rajastan. Watch out!

@bestfighterpilot Your Paki ignorance shines again. Firstly, LCA is not the first Indian fighter. That would be the HF-24 Marut. Secondly, No plane in the world demonstrates full operational capabilities at IOC. PV Naik clarified the same day that he meant that at IOC the plane already has capabilities of a 3.5 gen plane and by FOC it will reach 4.5 gen full operational capabilities. Next time you try to twist words, make sure there are no Indians around to call your bluff.

I checked out its 360 roll but you need to check out the most important maneuver that is the high G turn in which it takes a lot more than 30 sec. You can confirm it by watching other LCA videos, while JF-17 takes 19 sec!!!

India is just making its false claims for LCA in order to influence the world due to failure of LCA.It will be outdated by the time (2015) it will come out in full production.What a waste of time and money.

world can’t figure out India when it comes to projects like Arjun & LCA. Arjun-project started in 1972 & now almost 40 years later all they have shown only four prototypes, same story with LCA. It's world first fighter aircraft which has been inducted but still need operational clearance.

DRDO chief VK Aatre had said about the LCA Tejas’ “We have developed a fighter aircraft in 30 years and it still have a long way to go”. Air Chief PV Naik’s gave critical remarks at the initial operational clearance (IOC) of LCA that "LCA is just a 3 or 3.5 generation aircraft when it was actually supposed to be developed as a fourth generation one and and it will be used in IAF with limited operational capability", exposes IAF’s dissatisfaction with LCA’s development.
