can sum cars really sense when it need a oil change? sum idiot came back aguing we never changed his oil after a fresh oil and drove only 700km? saying his car knows wen it need an oil change. it was buick lasabre i think those run off a trip counter. note...oil light was not on wen he brought it be changed. these videos sometimes make it difficult for techs when customers are educated in complete nonsense that sombody told them.

use 5w30 or 10w30 with small amount stabilizer and keep it under 5000km i change mine every 2000km/ 2 months on conventional 5w30 with lucas. my motor is spotless every single time. and expect never have any problems. :) recently switched royal purple synthetic. expensive but i think its worth it.

new cars are now coming with 5w20 and 0w reccomendations which think is stupid. its to increase mileage but heard decreases engine life. les protection. an wats wit extended intervals? i'm a oil change guy and i see brand new cars going 6000km - 8km on oil changes wtf im draining burnt crap out it. dipsticks burnt. new VW came in for oil (top up) synthetic dealership told the lady change her oil every 6 months. it was the low mark from burning up. she ignored me wen i said u change 5k km/3mon.
