  • I own one of these guitars and by far, one of the nicest sounding, easier playing guitars around. These rank up there with anything Taylor, Martin etc. ever put out! Do some research, find out for yourself.

  • @omegaguitars Kevin - you have been insulting Blueberry guitars on various internet posts for for about 2 years now - far before you "allegedly" tried one - Is all this knocking our guitars helping the boost the sales of your guitars , you jealous jerk?

  • Before then, Banjos were the lead strings in jazz. I don't know about you, but I've played Walk This Way on a banjo when I was a kid. It didn't have the same effect. If I knew how to build a guitar, I believed I'd WANT it to be different.

  • Remember Les and Leo! The products that those guys churned out back in the 40s and 50s were NOT traditional fare! When Telecasters came out they were about as radical a guitar to ever come down the pike! And before I start getting blues from the Genre Police, remember that the flat-top acoustic is at least as innovative as the Tele. And what about when Orville broke out a giant 6-string fiddle!? -the Archtop the Tone-Snobbiest of them all (you know the crew!) cherish = RADICLE IN ITS TIME!

  • I played four of these today. They're good guitars. Well built, good intonation, and they project well.

  • you can be right and wrong at the same time. You're right of course about the top an maybe the back, but on the other hand, these guys come from an odd and new tradition. MAYBE cutting the top does "open" the sound. It certainly must lighten the top. There are objects cut to increased flexibility so who knows? Well I guess the answer to my question would be "someone who's played one"

  • they sound good my friend has 1.

  • I don't know, maybe a guitarist who loves the look of a beautiful guitar

  • I agree, I would love to hear these guitars and have the be compared to other hand made guitars like fox, true north, froggy bottom and others.

Looks are nice, but you can get anyone to carve things. and thats what makes me so skeptical. the top shouldnt be touched, nor the back. The next and headstock ok, but why mess with a gorgeous piece of wood if its macassar, ziricote, or Br. rosewood!?

  • It would have been nice to hear more of the guitar rather than just seeing them talk about them, after all, it does come down to the sound unless you are just looking for a wall decoration.

  • They have an awesome Luthier named George Morris who has 25 years experience making guitars. You do not pay attention before blasting off your negative opinion which paints you out as a whining malcontent more than a guitar critic. Get a frickin' clue before posting such uneducated dribble.
