TWO COMMENTS FOR CHAPTER 20, which is ore exciting, promise :)

Chapter 19 part 2
-
"How come you haven't Demi out yet?" Alex's eyes widened and his jaw momentarily dropped. "How did yo-I mean, WHAT?! Why would I do that?!" Libby rolled her eyes with a smile. "Cause you like her, duh." She giggled. "I thought you were the one with brains! I've seen the way you look at her." He bit his lip. "Okay, I like her. I have for a while now but don't tell anyone, especially Nick. I don't know why. I've never really though about asking her out on a date. I mean I've always known that she would probably only ever like me as just...Alex the friend. But nooo, since she is head cheerleader and Nick is head of the soccer team she thinks that he is the one for him!" Libby was now in hysterical laughter by his side. She was holding her sides to ease the aching. "Woah there boy, don't go thinking ahead of Nicholas now. I didn't even know he was the soccer captain, but I get why you think that. And, um, sorry about my
laughing. It's just that your rambling is funny in my opinion, you seemed liked you were going off into your own little world so I had to get you back." Putting on a serious face she turned her crossed legs and faced him. "Ow, uncomfortable." Libby adjusted her position so that she was sat on her legs facing him. Alex chuckled handsomely once more. "You sounded like you were taking a wedgie out or something." They both giggled again. She took his furthest hand and pressed the knuckles with little pressure from her thumb applied as she pondered in thought momentarily.
"You need to talk to her more. You're a really good guy Alex. If she doesn't see that soon then she is totally not worth it."

Alex's POV
Intently I listened. I was more of a listener than Nick, but he seemed to be getting on great that way. I never did listen to anyone like this though. Before I knew it my head bobbed instinctively up and down without repition as I leaned closer to her. There was no longer a physical emptiness between us both but about an inch. My breathe whisped through the calm space of air over her mouth. It was like her blue eyes were drawing me in. This felt weird. A good weird, but then again, a bad weird. I had gotten to know her before trying anything. The only reason for it was if I did do anything to Libby then Nick would get back at me somehow. Probably tell Demi I liked her. Actually I wasn't even sure if he knew about that. He wouldn't do that anyway, for his and my standards, that was pretty pathetic. All of a sudden I pressed my lips to hers. We both closed our eyes as soon as she pulled forwards to deepen the kiss. I placed my hands
around her waist to help her out. By now she'd cuddled her arms around my neck. I lifted her gently and lowered her body down on the couch where we continued to make out. I pulled away from her unwillingly. My body didn't shift or move at all. "Shit." "What?" She asked me out of confusion. "I-I can't do this." I admitted without reason. "Good because I did ttry to make you stop." I was pretty shocked. I thought that had gone pretty smoothly. Then again she did put her hands on my chest. "Uh, sorry...I didn't notice." That was the truth, I hadn't. She may
have mumbled something too...I'm not sure. "It's okay I guess. I tried to stop you cause you know...We're project partners for one, you also like Demi...and, well..." Then she bit her lip.
"And what?" I asked with a curious smirk. "Um..." I watched her hesitantly decide in her head what I had rose my eye brows expectantly.

"I didn't want my first real kiss to go too far." I noticed her gulp and immediatly guilt struck me. "I'm really sorry Libby." Without thinking I pulled her straight into a hug upright. "I didn't know, I would have stopped sooner if I'd have known." Bloody hell, she must still be a virgin. Daaamn Nick had it good. "Seriously it's fine." She pulled away from me and looked me directly in the eyes. A bright smile was the shining point of her face at the moment. I looked down at my watch, realising what time it was after a double-take of glancing at my wrist. "Okay, but swear to me you won't tell anyone about what just happened?" "Yeah sure that's fine, you have to go?" "Yeah, sorry." I stood up and offered my hand up for her to take. Greatfully with a smile she took it. "You say apologise too much, you know that?" She laughed, which put a smirk on my face. "Don't you need to be somewhere?" Libby asked which brought me out of my drunken daze. "Yeah, sorr-" I cut myself off and smiled at her. "I mean yeah I do have to go, see you at school?" The blonde girl took my hand and walked me to the front door. "Yeah."
She scratched the back of her head awkwardly with a lop-sided smile as I turned around to say my goodbyes for the day. "Bye." I called and flipped my body to confront the other direction.

My hopes were focused fully on the fact that I was so worried about her telling Nick about what just happened.
