  • Pretty good video. The paper by Carnot was the 1824 Reflections on the Motive Power of Fire. You are incorrect, however, in your statement that *neither of these two laws can be proven theoretically*, Clausius, in his 1865 The Mechanical Theory of Heat, presented one of most cogent on paper proofs in all of science, in deriving the first and second law.
