Project Lifesaver is a free program that uses radio transmitters to track clients that are in danger of wandering away and not being able to find their way back home. An example would be someone with Alzheimer's. If a client in Project Lifesaver wanders away, police respond with tracking equipment and are able to quickly locate them. For more info, call 757-253-1800.
The James City County Police Department is hosting a car show to help raise money for the program. The car show is on May 7, 10-3 p.m. at Warhill HIgh School. Admission is $1.
