Katonda Wange Omwagalwa is a religious hymn sung in Luganda meaning God my Beloved who lies in the Blessed Sacrament how shall I fitly recieve the gifts you bestow me.
ABOUT THE CHOIR: Founded in 1924, St. Cecilia Lubaga Cathedral Choir is the major and eldest choir in Uganda and in the Archdiocese of Kampala.
It is made up of 120 members including youths, men and women. They are all volunteers who leave their private businesses to serve the Lord. They compose and perform music during all liturgical gatherings.
Membership for new choristers is open to all people who love music and wish to offer their time for the greater Glory of God's name.
On their own, the choristers would not evangelise through sacred melodies if it were not for the diligent moral, financial, spiritual and various forms of support and contributions.
Wonderful song. I feel so inspired listening to this song. It is encouraging to see Catholic Choirs coming up. Keep it Lubaga choir. Your voices are super too. I am proud of you. God bless you. Keep the Spirit burning. It is good.
