...but actually, a lot of the 'Smells..." chords are still there!! So here´s what could've been, not a PSB version but a PSB remix of the Nirvana song. It´s something like a rough experiment made by me, but funny anyway ;)

Shitastic! I congratulate you for mixing this breathtakingly excellent rock song with a shitty Pop shit fuck shit. Trust me, I am not narrow minded. I like Reggae, Blues, etc. But I fucking hate POP. Pop is the worst genre apart from rap. Fuck.

Saying that you like Rock, Reggae, Blues..but don´t like Pop is like saying that you like Pizza, Barbacue...but don´t like food! Pop is not just a musical genre, is the only musical 'style' with no limits. It can include reggae, Rock, Blues and whatever other musical genre, transform it, mix it, create unique musical pieces with no prejudice. It´s not a prisoner of their own elements like all the other genres you mentioned, it´s a real playground for the curious minds and ears.

No man, lol, I love reading as much as I love music.

I hate pop. What I mean, is I hate these assholes like Mika, or Girls Aloud, who are fucked up. None of them are talented- they only sing. 98 % of music on their albums are uncredited. They only do vocals yet they claim all credit. They have no talent at all, since they can't contribute to the music in any other way.

OK..I understand your idea, I can't say you're not right with some Pop 'artists'...but as you're saying this in a Pet Shop Boys related post, it sounds confusing (I mean, PSB doesn't fit at all on your description of despicable-pop-artist...)

And I´m sure there must be pretty faces with no talent in Rock, Reggae and Blues too...or am I wrong? ;)

Hurray for your remark. I am proud to say that in my record collection, Creed, The Cult, The Smiths, Blondie and U2 sit happily next to ABBA, Erasure, A-ha and Britney. A good tune is a good tune, regardless of its style or the age/colour/hairstyle/sexuality of the performer.
