@Spjungen
Yep, I agree. It's common sense that alludes many modern academics, and without common sense intellectual knowledge is useless.

Only Utopians or people with Malignant ideologies hate this country (and there is Libertarian Utopianism just s there is Liberal Utopianism).

@Aphoresis And if you look at it realistically, with a clear mind and knowledge of what's REALLY going on it wasn't that hard to predict either; debt leads to uncertainty, which leads to loss of confidence, which leads to short-selling, which leads to a market crash, which leads to a recession. Simple as that.

@woweifj Mega put it well.
Words and theories are nice but In the end knowledge is about results.
Schiff doesn't have to post a response rambling on about the theoretical constructs you refer to, he did what they could not: he predicted the Economic Crisis.

@woweifj Goverments all over the world have been listening and applaying the economic prescriptions of Nobel prize laureates for decades. You just have to look around and see the economy to know how smart this people really were.

Peter Schiff, we are all waiting for your Nobel Prize in Economics for accurate predictions of hyperinflation and broader U.S. economic performance.
