I really prefer the old lyrics, but if current gen youngsters get to play this awesomeness I'll let it slide

I like "Tsubasa" and I don't mind that they re-wrote the lyrics (they probably didn't have the rights to use the old ones) but did the translation have to be so direct? And unrhyming?

@apeada521 It's the same exact song, different lyrics. And IT'S STILL JENNY STIGILE.
I think we should all be glad they got Jenny Stigile for us. :)

I think they should have included the old English version, the new English version, and the Japanese version. Wild Arms 3 had varying openings where it had both the Japanese, English, and an instrumental opening, I think they could have done something similar or perhaps have the ability to "unlock" the old opening and watch it as a bonus thing. I don't have Harmony, but I imagine there's a way to view cutscenes, so they could have made it an unlockable cutscene.

@XeftCore Lunar: SS is corny as hell as a general rule. It is also still awesome.

As much as I love SSSC, I do have to admit this is a much better opening song.

I think the new lyrics don't have perfect iambic pentameter, but from my Japanese knowledge, I think XSeed's translation is great.
Personally, I didn't start on Lunar until college. I played the old Sega CD versions, then moved right on to the PS1 versions.
That said, I say SSH is definitely the best remake. I just wish they'd do Eternal Blue for PSP, because I like EB slightly better. Eternal Blue has had 2 iterations, while Silver Star has had 4, across 5 different consoles. I mean, sheesh!

@theevilconductor ya but the song and Singer sucks

Whether you want to argue if this version is inferior to the Working Designs PS1 version, you can't deny the lyrics at least make sense in this version...

@Aimingforcute your right Aimingforcute. These lyrics are very close translation of the original japanese lyrics. I think it sounds great.

I'm so angry that the remake isn't a clone of the original, and that it has so many obvious improvements! Because I'm completely biased by childhood memories, and am now an whiny 20+ year old! How dare they appeal to a new generation and share this wonderful story with them!
