During an "Enterprise" trip to south florida's PlanetPPG, we were in the mid-day lull when I started wondering, why not create our own wind for kiting? And so we did.
Paul drove first with me in the back of his pickup truck. We went back and forth down the field making figure 8's that kept each turn going into what wind was there. It was a hoot! Probably the biggest risk was getting a leg caught on the tailgate hold-open if a gust caught the wing.
The 18 meter Pluto made it easier because it doesn't pull as hard as a larger wing and handles extremely well.
Thanks to Dan for running Paul's camera and sorry about the shaky video, it's not stabilized.

I was fortunate to actually be there the day the video was shot. It was amazing. I got to solo the next day. This is a awesome sport. Thanks Jeff for signing my PPG Bible. Erik.

Might be good to note that you did not tie/tether yourself to the truck, just for those that might try this at home...

Thanks guys, it was a lot of fun! A new way to kill time on those calm mid-day doldrums.
