Gummy Bear Wave Machine

7th Grade Science class demonstrating a gummy bear wave machine.
The students made this gummy bear wave machine while I was student teaching. The unit was on waves and the students were asked to design and conduct an experiment on the properties of waves using the wave machine.

This was a fun and interesting class project. The students enjoyed building the machine (and eating the gummy bears). Really helped the students understand the fundamentals of waves.
