The American 'Ethnic' Food Section

I spotted this food section in a gourmet grocery store in Alexanderplatz, Berlin and thought it was too good to be true! Whoever curated this section has America down, for better or for worse.

Now please excuse me as I eat marshmallow fluff straight from the container. Per my national customs, naturally.

So, in your opinion, Japan doesn't have a culture because it borrowed most of it from Korea and China? Or, for that matter, most of the world. Thinking about it, Europe doesn't have a culture either. It borrowed most of its elements from the Greco-Roman world, which in turn borrowed from the Middle East and Egypt. Hell, even Neolithic cultures like Hallstatt, Funnelbeaker, Cardium Pottery or Corded Ware have its origins in Asia.

So much for European superiority.

Why do you think the people in the New World broke away from Europe, So they wouldn't have to deal with people like you. Anyway it may be true that America has no specific culture, but that is only because of the so many different groups that make up America.

Almost all whites in America has immigrated from Europe in one way or another. It's kind of silly when you talk about what the Europeans have invented. They were Europeans once aswell so they are involved in many of the inventions also.

You can find apple pie in all countries that produce apples. You got traditional apple pies in almost every European country.
