Everybody is valuable, sometimes the world forgets that's as true of autistic people as anyone else. Some recent research reveals many good things about autistic people and highlights a different way of thinking and processing. In the background Glenn Gould plays Bach from the Goldberg Variations in fact, not as it says from the Well Tempered Clavier.

  • Yes me too - it goes Hey! This is striking! every time. I just wish the text could have looked that good too - never mind, the content stands up.

  • Was the text written by an autistic because I don't understand what it means. It should be written in English.

  • A great batch of info. Thanks for adding it as a response to AuRatio. I hope more people will (re-)visit this classic PosAutive video.

  • I like the message, the music and the colors. You're pretty good at graphics :)

    Peace be with you,

  • That's awesome!

My three year old has autism, and I sometimes feel that he is too intelligent to respond and interact on the neurotypical level.

And he is so valued. Thanks for making this video!

  • the music is: variation 25 of goldberg variations, played by glenn gould

  • check out the vids by jdplvy

  • That's very good. But some of the terminology in the papers makes me cringe, specfically the use of "superior". That could easily lead to references of "inferior" performance in other areas.

  • I like Ralph's graphic.
