I remember this just like it was yesterday.....and the sad thing is it's almost hurricane season again... I think this is gonna be a bad year for the gulf coast......be prepared everyone.......

Hurricane Ike was peaked at 150 mph, The nhc wasnt accurate and dont go to wikipedia, the nhc wrote that, but i remember watching the tropical update when hannah just made landfall, the circulation is very small at that time. And thats a sign of strenthening

Gustav reached 150 MPH. Ike didn't.

Incorrect. Ike reached 145mph, the NHC found this in post-storm analysis.
