American student Amanda Knox 'Nightmare is Over' and Walks Free From Court

The family of American student Amanda Knox hugged and kissed as the decision to overturn her murder conviction was announced.

Ms Knox and her former boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito had been convicted for the murder of British student Meredith Kercher who was found stabbed to death in the flat she shared with Knox.

The Kercher family were in court for the acquittal verdict but did not make any immediate comment
