In fact, locals have named the Graz Art Museum "The Friendly Alien", due to its appearance.

The museum is a blob-like structure, its skin made of shiny blue panels.

The odd tubes protruding from the top of the building allow sunlight to reach the interior.

Hundreds of flickering fluorescent rings in the building's exterior turn it into a giant screen.
