Achinakom, Kerala, India
Rainwater for Humanity builds rainwater harvesting tanks in rural Kerala. These tanks provide clean and affordable drinking water for villagers during the dry season, and also save families up to 2 hours of time each day by eliminating the need to walk to a well outside of the village.
This video shows the walk to one of these wells; this is one of the shortest routes possible.
