Hello, I'm in the fence between buying an Archos tablet and a Nook Color for my girlfriend. At the moment I'm leaning toward the Archos because she is going to go to school soon and I feel like it will offer more functional for writing papers since I've read you can connect a USB keyboard. The Nook seems more like a reader and media player but the GUI seems simpler and friendly so that's a plus for my GF. She was looking into a cheaper laptop but I think a tablet would suit her even better.

is the 10.1 archos market the same as the android phone market? For example the pokedex app i know you can get it on android phons but can u get it on the archos 10.1 tablet? please reply by this christmas so i can get 1

@ReynAnimations every thing i needed flash for it worked. Havent had any problems so far. Its well worth the 259 price.
Is it possible to use google voice application to make calls??

@basharsbh google voice will allow you to text but I'm not sure about calls. Check the forums on XDA/ archosfans to find out.

Can you tether this with android phone, I can't seem make to work. But I was able to tether my ipod touch just fine.

@MegaWaxz it can via bluetooth and ad hoc depending on how much time you want to invest in getting it working. Check out the forums at XDA and Archosfans.
