Submission to Love - Chapter 8 (a jonas story)

Hey guys, before u read we just wanted to say that WE KNOW THAT LINE IS FROM THE NOTEBOOK. But honestly, we thought that it would fit perfectly. So please dont get mad :)


RAYAN. ha hah a. Well going back to the previous question, when you said that Dulce does'nt love you. I guess you have'nt seen My last interview with her...
NICK. huh?
RAYAN. Lemme show u. -Shows him the interview part where Dulce says that she loves him.

-Coincidentally, Dulce forgets her glasses in the dressing room of Rayan's set. She asks the guards if she can go really quick and get her glasses. As she's looking for them in the
dressing room, Nick walks in because he's done with the interview. Awkwardness filled the
room. Dulce wants to run into Nick's arms but wants kill him at the same time. Nick does'nt
know what to say.

DULCE. Oh. Hey Nick. How are you?
NICK. -looks deeply at Dulce.
NICK. Did you mean it?
DULCE. uhhh yeah. I meant how was your day?
NICK. No, about what you said in the interview. Why didn't you tell me? Instead of
announcing it to the whole world on TV?
DULCE. You know what Nick, I don't have time for this. -starts to walk out but Nick blocks
the door.
NICK. Wait!
DULCE. Wait?!? You're telling me to wait!?! I waited three months Nick! I sat by the phone
every day and nothing! I waited hours for you to sign on, staring at my computer screen!
Don't tell me to wait!
NICK. What are you talking about?! I called you everyday! I was signed on twenty-four
seven, just hoping that I would have some kind of way of talking to you! And why did you
have to change your number? I called every minute and no one picked up?!? Why are you
playing these games with me? I can't deal with this!
DULCE. Change my number?!? What the hell are you talking about Nick!
NICK. But MILEY said- (Nick realizes.) I am such an idiot. And that time she asked to use my phone, she must have blocked
you...(Nick is obviously a little slow) Oh my god. Dulce, I am so stupid.
DULCE. You know what Nick, I can't do this. This was over before it even started. -pushes
Nick out of the doorway and walks out. She walks about five steps.
NICK. Damn Dulce! It wasn't over then, and it's still not over!

-Nick grabs Dulce's left hand and flings her around. He pulls her close and starts to kiss
her. The kiss becomes stronger and deeper, Nick holds her close and embraces her. When they
finish, their foreheads touch and they look into eachother's eyes.

NICK. Let's get outta here. -Nick runs with Dulce out to the parking lot, passing Selena,
who was talking to Joe.
SELENA. Hey! Where are you two going?
DULCE. I don't know. Don't wait for me.
-Joe just shrugs his shoulders.

-When Dulce and Nick reach the parking lot, Nick reaches into his pocket.

NICK. Shoot! I forgot my car keys!
DULCE. We'll take my car.

-Nick drives her to the park and they end up just laying down, looking at the stars. Dulce
rests her head on Nick's chest and listens to his steady hear beat. Nick strokes her hair
and they talk. A while later, Dulce sits up and grabs a piece of grass. She splits it in
half and throws it to the side.

DULCE. Nick, do you think that there's anything more for us here?
NICK. Huh?
DULCE. I don't know, things sometimes just go so wrong.
NICK. Well, I just think that if you believe in God, and have faith, things will be okay.
DULCE. Faith...I had faith. My Mom had faith. There's got to be something else...Faith.
Look where that's gotten me. -Dulce splits another blade of grass and throws it to the side. Nick sits up,strokes her back, and kisses her head.
