Here in Indiana we plant all different ways it it doesnt seem to make a difference, some plant 7 1\2in. rows, some 15in. and some 30in., it all equals out in the end. 15in. rows get my pick but to each his own.

try taping every other hole with duct tape in the bottom of the seed bin on the drill this way the rows are 15 inches apart instead of 7.5 inches. after we tried it we dont row plant as much.

How many bushel to the acre do you get drilling beans? On our farm we always row planted as my grandfather wanted it done that way. I asked him about drilling and he said the yield wasn't any better than the way we were doing it. We had black gumbo soil in our fields so, I don't know if that would make a difference or not.
