Original Capitol Records
LP Vinyl

Released July 10, 1964.
Did NOT chart.

In the USA, this is how you originally got "I'll Be Back",
which is on the Beatles '65 LP.

  • My mother has an original US Hard Days Night which I belive has a United Artists labal instead of Capitol since the film was released through United Artists.

  • That is correct - the red colored LP that I show is "A Hard Days NIght", and it's on United Artists.

  • the voice of john lennon is is simply great when you hear him sing a song like this

  • This inspired the "Butcher Cover" photo. The Beatles were disgusted at Capitol for pulling stunts like mixing up their albums--ie Butchering them up!!!

  • great album.i found a copy of lp in 1983.

  • ive started collecting there albums on cd

  • Can you please upload a song from your US A Hard Day's Night LP

  • i've got this album too.in fact all of their lps are good(not counting any lps that has only few of their early recordings)

  • @TheDiddlysquat Spoken like a true yob.

  • This is by far the best mix. And I've listened to both the mono and stereo digital remasters. There is just something about the depth of sound (which quite frankly, is also due to American engineers who added an extra layer of reverb) that envelops you and pulls you into the mood of the song. Making Beatles 65 one of my favorite lbums.

  • Trust Capitol to add reverb to the U.S mix!
