@Lym0re Just like in real life, some people are assholes. This is what he's on about. Not all guys are assholes towards girls online and those guys become the guys who take offence/get annoyed when these girls say that we should accept them. I don't give a crap, I play games because I like them and they should too. So let's just all play together and have a good time, stop complaining, ignore the assholes and make the gaming community a better place.

But... just as all girls can't be blamed, all guys can't be held blameless. If guy gamers(not all guy gamers, obviously) never put girl gamers on pedestals in the first place.... girls probably wouldn't be using it as an attention whore ploy. Sure, girl gamers get negative attention, but there are plenty of guys out there who give them positive attention too, just for being a girl.

I used to dread running in to other girls on xbl, quite a few feel that they are special, and they have their little group of guys who fall for it, and carry them through the game because they have no real talent themselves. They are territorial over their group of boys, and can get rude to other girls. It's been about 4 years since I've been on xbl, so maybe things have changed.

Luckily, I don't tend to run into crap like that on WoW these days.

Good video. Girls need to learn how to swallow their pride and just ignore people who make fun of them. Hell, the whole reason assholes go on to the girl insults is because that's what they know about them, if not they'd get the homo/racial insults. But of the girls who bitch about the subject, I don't even think they're aware of or want to admit that guys get picked on just as much as girls do.
