I might be crazy. But I'd easily put McCreary in the same level as Beethoven. I have never heard such moving music that has such creativity and orginality. I am no music expert. But this music... Pulls my heart strings.

@6235river No worries, thanks for answering. But no, still not what I'm thinking of. It's a tune that's usually played around the pilots. It plays in the very first episode as Lee finishes his "be careful out there" briefing.

@le0jay So, my reply is a year late but whatever. xD There's multiple songs for this theme because this is Apollo and Starbuck's love theme, so it's usually played during their romantic moments. So it's heard in Violence and Variations and different snip its are throughout a lot of songs.

@Savantix thanks but no that's not it; it's not the Adama theme, nor Forgiven. It's played in episode one when the pilots walk by and touch the photo of the kneeling soldier?
