I Can't Stand Up For Falling Down: Chapter 31 part 2

He turns to storm back into his room when Kevin reaches over and grabs his shoulder. "Sorry Dude. It's just so much fun watching you change colour. So what was the dream? I promise we won't tease you anymore. Right Joe?" Joe looks at Nick "I don't make promises I can't keep. But I'll try. Nick shrugs in acceptance. "Well it was about a girl." Joe smiles slapping Kevin on the arm "See I told you it was going to be Hawt." Nicks eyes burning with rage glares at Joe who shrinks back "Sorry, I...didn't mean it." Nick takes a deep breath and lets it out slowly, he turns and enters his room. Kevin and Joe look at each other and shrug. They follow him into the room. Nick sits on the edge of his bed and looks at them "Can I talk now? Are you Both Finished?" Joe opens his mouth but Kevin quickly reaches up and covers it with his hand. "Go ahead Nick, he won't say anything else. Right Joe!" Joe nods his head with Kevin's hand still covering his mouth, Kevin smiles and removes his hand. They both look at Nick waiting for him to start. "Okay, well I was walking down a hall and then all of a sudden I was in the middle of a field or something. There was this girl, I don't know who she is...I know I've seen her before but I can't figure out where...whatever...She has long dark hair, though." Joe grins "A brunette, Nice!" Kevin gives him a nudge. "Oh! Sorry Continue." "As I was saying I was in a field it could have been a park, not quite sure. It doesn't really matter. Okay well I saw her running away from something, I don't remember exactly what, that part is kind of a blur, she as yelling my name and waving at me for help. Then...um..it got weird...all of a sudden I was riding a Zebra." He looks up at his brothers as Kevin blurts out "You were riding a what?" Nick grins "A Zebra, You know a Black and White Horse thing.... You see at the Zoo...I told you it got Weird!.. I was racing towards her, I grabbed her and flung her up behind me... like in the old westerns. She said 'I have to get away he won't let me go.' I turn around and look into a pair of beautiful dark eyes. And the thing that was chasing her was gone. The next thing I remember was the zebra running along a beach at least there was water and sand. We stopped and I was standing beside the zebra, helping her down. Our lips were about to meet when 'Crash!' I woke up!" Kevin looking mystified "You're right that was weird." Nick queries "What do you think it means?" Joe laughing; jumps up and down "We're getting a Zebra! Yay!" Kevin looks at him bewildered "Seriously Man, You ...Need... Help!" "I know but ya still love me."Joe says smiling showing his teeth. Nick snickers "Well?" Joe sulks, Kevin laughs "Are you sure you're not adopted?" "Yes!" Joe exclaims and throws the towels he is still holding at Kevin. "Ewww...Dude, those are wet!" he throws them back at Joe.
