Yes,We really have 7 children in a large community where 8 might be averagemy brothers had 10,9 and 4.I never raced pigeons, played cards, went to the pub but we did spend all our free time with our children.Having 1 child is much more difficult than raising 7!The child would normally feel like center of the universe or like a total loser. That must be so hard on such a child.
@RasMajnouni Interesting comments because I was going to remark on just that. She's a bit old IMO to be whining "How could you??" when her father has to go sit in on an inquest because *people were hurt in an explosion.* You're not the centre of the universe, kid. Get over yourself.
When middle class men marry women 15 years younger & they have one child, these things are taken out of the proper framework. When there are younger fathers with 2,3 or 7 children the kiddies keep the right perspective.Daddy won't see your part in the play because its Saturday afternoon pigeon racing.A fact of life. One time he gets to Mary's play, once misses Johnny's art exhibit, but over time he goes to 65% of them.If they were kids like meself, I'd rather they didn't hear me flub my lines.
