Christmas is only a name given to a concept. In Norway we still use the name Jul, while others have choosen a different name. You can give actions or a set of actions any name prefered, but actions do not change by new label alone. The sacred tree and the morning star on top are labeled christian only because of denial. In Norway people still embrace the sacrifice of placing porridge in the barn to thank the dwellers in the underwold realm for no mischief related to old dependency of harvest.

@metallicatampamagnet This is the world we live in ..... Lots have eyes closed to the faith that is 20,000 years old that came before every religion on the planet. Man worshiped the Sun and the Moon & took wonder on the world around. Keep it in your Heart and seek out when your away Paganism is a nature based spirituality take note of the holidays and just signify them in your own way there is no structure like Christianity we have no right and wrong way of doing things only be true .Blessings

@mathiasmorqubus This has been done before....It just opens up an argument that goes on and on and this channel is not for that. Let the negative people fester in there own realms I don't permit it here. I am tolerant to all but over the years it has got out of hand so I no longer put up with it.

Very nice and I hope everyone had a blessed Yule. I am reminded that the name "Pan" is Greek for "all". So the great god Pan is "all of divinity". I like that thought as all gods are one god and all goddesses are one goddess and the two are All that is.

@Thorskald In finland we allso still celebrate Jul, its in finnish Joulu, comes from the old norse word Hjul means sun wheel, im a Pagan i celebrate the real yule ;)
