@progress2007 lol, I've been a depeche mode fan for 5 years, but what you said pretty much sums it up. Personally I love Mart's singing technique, and got used to it in record time (lol), actually I even like the break now and then, (good example being a question of lust from the KROQ christmas 1998 gig).
If you are reading this Martin (which I know you never will) - I love you for the joy and happiness your compositions have given me (:

mart could still improve his singing technique.
his breathing technique leads to his notes sometimes breaking and the pitches being off from time to time.
but, it has gotten so much better in recent years... almost too good.
He's singing all macho now, we rarely hear him doing his old fake boy-soprano/transgender stuff.
