World Business: Kazakhstan is a vast country, roughly the size of Western Europe and is awash with natural resources, including substantial reserves of coal, gas, uranium and oil. The Kashagan oil field, which has the potential to supply up to 50 billion barrels, is the biggest deposit discovered in the last 30 years. Exploiting these resources in such a massive country will be no easy task, but by building links with resource hungry countries like China, the opportunities for Kazakhstan are tremendous.
